Human Chorionic Gonadotropin (HCG) is a natural hormone present in both males and females.  While using the HCG injections, along with the very low calorie diet, your body is able to burn the fat that is stored around the hips, thighs, belly and upper arms while not going into "starvation mode".  This is because the HCG triggers your metabolism and pulls calories from your already stored fat and circulates those calories as fuel/energy.  With HCG, excess fat disappears even faster and problem areas seem to be dealt with more efficiently than traditional dieting.  The HCG program is a rapid weight loss program that patients have lost 20-40 pounds per month.  This program changes your relationship with food with no addictive medication or stimulants.

The HCG weight loss program consists of a very low calorie diet in conjunction with HCG injections.  Injections are given with a minimum of 21 days to a maximum of 45 days per round.  You can do as many rounds as you need to with six week breaks in between rounds.
